Our retail concept is called PrintPod. It has been developed here in the UK. During development. we have consulted some key partners. Our print technology is provided by Sony, and they have provided extensive input during the development stage. Microsoft helped us with the early field tests. Verifone Payment Systems have provided input on the card payment infrastructure.
The PrintPod kiosk allows consumers to get real photo prints in seconds, from pictures taken by their mobile phones and digital cameras. The kiosk requires no intervention by counter staff. PrintPod kiosks even collects payment from the customer, via notes and coins (and gives change) or via credit and debit cards (with chip and pin).
It provides consumers with a brilliant new service, while providing retailers with a valuable source of extra revenue and profit. Its appeal is across all ages. PrintPod can drive extra profit AND additional footfall. It will even be popular with retail staff.
The PrintPod kiosk works in less than 3ft2 of space.
